Parent Coaching

Being a parent is not easy.

Balancing the demands of work with the needs of our children becomes a constant state of mind leaving no space for us to be effective parents.

Instead, we feel worn out, exhausted, and out of energy – leaving us depleted and out of ideas when parenting our children.

Our children need us to be at our best. They depend on us for direction, encouragement, support, and love.

We know that childhood experiences carry over into adulthood. We strongly desire our children to be productive and caring adults, free from adverse childhood experiences.

Exhausted parenting leads to ineffective parenting.

Parents are desperate and want a quick fix. “What parenting strategy will get my kids to listen, follow directions, and be responsible?”

We live in a digital age, which fosters positive and negative outcomes in our society. Unfortunately, children experience both the good and bad that modern society offers.

Our children’s world includes mass shootings, school shootings, unseen dangers like COVID, and national instability – all constantly broadcast on the news and social media.

These issues have created fewer safe spaces for our children to be children – their innocence stolen and their playful nature replaced by a fearful spirit.

Coaching helps make parenting less uncertain.

Good parenting is necessary more than ever. Coaching can help parents develop strategies and define goals to ease parental uncertainty.

I do not have a quick fix, but I can equip you with the mindset and strategies needed to parent a child in this digital age.

During our coaching sessions, I will help you discover and identify the current challenges within your parenting dynamic and identify what seems to be working and what’s not working. Based on this information, we will develop a new framework to help you think through current parenting challenges and equip you with new tools to stay connected to your child during challenging behaviors.

Rather than using ineffective forms of discipline, we will work on communication that helps build a relationship with your child based on mutual respect. My goal is to encourage and support your belief in the power of love as it guides you back to your child’s heart.

Let’s talk about how my coaching can help you find an easier path to parenting in the best way possible.

“When you connect to the heart of a child, everything is possible.”
